CANCEL CULTURE

URBAN DICTIONARY : A desire to cancel out a person or community from social media platforms. And Life (my words).

This happened to me two weeks ago. It was sudden and hurtful taking me days to process what happened. Because I was unclear why exactly there was such a harsh response.

This experience has made me realize so much about our culture today. No longer do I experience Peace and Love in the world in which I live. Today anger, judgement, hypocrisy and selfishness seem to be the norm.

However, I choose Love, Forgiveness and Grace. May God help us be thinkers of others rather than self. May we realize as we step out of our world into the world of caring for others, Peace meets us there. I am so blessed and thankful for this ministry I Love the population I get to hangout with. These bumps along the way drive me deeper into God’s will, seeking His wisdom daily.

I choose to forgive the cancellation of my participation in the life of another. I have come to understand in this situation as well as so many others how our God works. He gives and He takes away and that has to be okay.
