It’s been a year !

It’s been one year since I posted on this website.

I haven’t posted because I no longer felt it good stewardship to spend donor money on a monthly fee. Most recently I have been in discussion with a young ministry partner who will be helping me with the website, I hope to have regular updates and fresh new insights into what we are doing with Hope Farm, our vision and our growth.

Big Thank you to all of our faithful donors and supporters we are still serving the homeless and poor population of Akron Ohio weekly with lunches and also a weekly hot meal at the Middlebury Chapel. Not only is the ministry to feed His sheep continuing, but also mens and womens bible studies are taking place on Wednesday nights before our Community Supper.

I must share a few things that have happened this year. We have three men, formerly homeless friends who we served while in addiction and living in the woods or bandos. The three of them are now working full time. they own cars and have their driver’s licenses and live independently indoors ! Matt has been reunited with his family and last report he said he works 12 hours and sleeps 12 hours ! Two other guys are assisting us Wednesday evenings and on Mondays. It is such a blessing to see God at work in the lives of our friends. There are so many good stories as well as tragic stories, this week we lost another friend to the violence of the street.
